MovingWorlds Institute Cohorts

A network of professionals from over 50 countries using their careers to make the world better

Cohorts launch twice per year, in May and October, and programming lasts for 6 months. Cohorts typically include between 20-30 people. Afterwards, you will be part of our global alumni community for life, with access to professional development, ongoing learning, and plenty of networking opportunities. See Fellows from previous cohorts here.

Questions about scholarships and payment plans? Visit our help center at support.movingworlds.org

Tuition

Without the expense associated with an in-person kickoff, we're passing the savings on to you by reducing the $4,600 pre-COVID cost of tuition by $1,000.

  • Virtual cohorts: $3,600

MovingWorlds is a social enterprise. Any profit made from our programs is invested back into the programs that we run, including the needs-based scholarships for the MovingWorlds Institute and support to other social enterprises around the world.

Financing and Scholarships

Tuition can be paid up-front for a $200 discount, or in monthly instalments over the 6 months of the program. Upon acceptance, a down payment is required to confirm your seat. Our goal is to make the Fellowship as accessible as possible regardless of your home country, industry, employment status, or professional background. After submitting your Fellowship application, you can submit the secondary scholarship application here.

What is included?

Tuition includes:

  • All assessments, including Aperian GlobeSmart and Imperative Purpose
  • Direct access to Industry Leaders and other Speakers
  • Online community access during Fellowship, as well as lifetime access to the alumni community
  • Individualized coaching
  • Interactive virtual training weekend and all associated virtual collaboration tools

Are there any expenses that aren't covered?

That depends on whether you choose to do your social impact project virtually, locally, or abroad. If travel is involved, travel expenses are not covered by the cost of tuition. However, all projects on the MovingWorlds platform list the benefits that the host organization is able to provide in exchange for the Fellows' skills-based support. Most projects cover in-country living expenses such as accommodations, meals, and transportation.
